Silk butterflies
Set up the indoor mini studio, but had little that I could find quickly that really appealed to me. In the end I saw these silk butterflies left over from my daughter’s wedding from a few year’s ago.
Making time is the key
Well, it’s clear I’m not setting time aside for myself to take photos on my 365 day challenge as I continue to have to ‘make do’ with a quick shot of something which is generally inside as the light has already gone outside by the time I get around to it.
Starfish
I’ve just bought a simple mini studio for doing small item photos and thought I would give it a quick test. Being lazy and not bothering to get a better camera, I opted for the compact. Reasonably happy with the result.
Grandparent’s cuppa tea
You can’t beat a nice cup of tea and when they are served in ‘Extra Special Grandad and Grandma mugs – even better!

Silver lady
Silver Lady ornament shot indoors with in built flash. The slight halo/soft effect is due to condensation on the camera lens as had just brought the camera inside from the cold.
Skully
This is actually a box that my daughter bought some time ago and was happy for us to throw out. However, I’ve become quite attached to it, so it’s got a residence in our conservatory now.
