OK, late photo today hence the harsh flash lighting (again). This is one of a few of these plants (all different colours) that have seeded in my garden and come back every year. If someone tells me it’s a weed, then at least it’s a pretty one! I did look it up once and found out what it was, but I’ve forgotten again.
Although it can sometimes be an irritant, the sight of the yellow rapeseed against blue skies does make for impressive pictures. This is from my parent’s house back garden.

These are a long distance relative of Welsh poppies taken from seeds in my Grandfather’s garden in York, probably in the 1980’s some time. They are now in many places around our area!
